Refund Policy

This policy explains when a refund is available for credit packs purchased on Uttar Grade. Credits are a digital product delivered instantly, so this policy is written with that in mind.

1. Evaluation failures are refunded automatically

If an evaluation fails for a technical reason, for example the AI system returns an error, or a submitted file cannot be processed, the credit for that attempt is automatically returned to your balance. You do not need to contact us or request this separately. This happens at the moment of failure, before any manual review.

2. Unused credits

If you have purchased a credit pack and have not used any credits from it, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Contact us with your Payment ID and we will process the refund to your original payment method through Razorpay.

3. Partially or fully used packs

Once one or more credits from a pack have been successfully used, for example you received a completed evaluation, the pack is no longer eligible for a refund of the used portion. If some credits remain unused, we will consider a partial refund for the unused credits at our discretion, on a case-by-case basis.

4. Dissatisfaction with feedback quality

Uttar Grade provides AI-generated feedback intended to support exam preparation. It is not an official examiner's evaluation, and scores or comments are a practice aid, not a guarantee of accuracy. Disagreement with the content or tone of a successfully delivered evaluation is not, by itself, grounds for a refund. If you believe an evaluation was genuinely broken or nonsensical (for example, clearly unrelated to your uploaded script), contact us and we will review it individually.

5. How to request a refund

Email us with:

Your Razorpay Payment ID (starts with pay_)
The date of purchase
The reason for your request

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Razorpay, and may take 5–7 business days to reflect depending on your bank.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
